trying to install the OEM skirts. 3m tape doesn’t hold, urethane adhesive also doesn’t. I took 400 grit and lightly scuffed also and wiped with thinners made sure it was clean. any ideas? not sure what else I can try…
the sideskirt is screwed in with 1 screw in the front inside the wheel and also the back …not just tape unless you want em to fly off on the highway
I mounted my OEM skirts using the following 3M tape last summer and didn’t use any screws, I couldn’t find it locally so I ordered it from this ebay seller. It held up over the winter very nicely, make sure you clean the body and skirts thoroughly with alcohol before applying. GL! btw, this is a 5 meter roll and it was more than enough, I still have a little left.
