How to blow subwoofers

Well the warrenty on My GF’s subwoofers runs out in a couple weeks. We thought about blowing them so that we could get the free replacements. How would we go about doing this? We have a Viper or Cobra Amp (cant remeber which) thats rated at 800w RMS. What should we do?

plug dat shiet (the sub that is) right into a wall and KABOOM

bridge the amp, throw a chap pot over the back of the sub and heat it up with a torch to overheat the sub while its pushing as much bass as you can manage … should overheat in no time

I feel dumb but How do you bridge an amp lol

just look it up on the web for your specific amp, but it usualy just requires throwing a switch and / or swapping the speaker wires around a lil

turn the gains all the way up and turn the volume up… when the amp clips it will roast the subs pretty quick

swhat would happen if u plugged a speaker into a wall socket wire??? would it produce a tone???

you would produce a tone… a rather high pitched one

bearly ne sub can handle the wall

hook it up to my amp because appearantyl thats all its good at

what would you do just take one wire from the + and the - and put them in the speaker and the wall

yeah… connect it to a wall socket… it will make a sound for about a second or two… maybe even longer depending on how much juice it can handle… then it will probably give you a little puff of smoke…

then go reset your circuit breaker…

yeah i work at Stereo Advantage in car audio…the wall socket idea is the easiest way to do it…just make sure u do it in a well-ventillated area cuz they have been known to smoke a bit with that method. id just be careful though cuz some places will bitch about it and be able to tell that it was user neglect and therefore not give you new subs 9i kno we do tat a lot, so if u bought them from Stereo Advantage, dont even do it)

possibly it haS OMETHING TO DO WITH THE ACCIENDENT, CHECK GROUBS AND AMP, MAY HVE FUNCTIONED Due TO totallage…

how about you don’t be a cheap bastard and just buy new subs? People like you make it harder for people like me to buy warranties.

asshole.
:stuck_out_tongue:

Actually it will produce a very loud 60hz tone. For a couple of seconds.

its already been said, but just plug it into a wall outlet

hhahhahahhaha

60 cycles /= high pitched :stuck_out_tongue:

60 hertz is not high pitch, hook that thing up to a 220v line.
