how to install an oil pressure gauge in sr20?

:? …
anyone can tell me how to do it?
where is the oil pressure line that i can T of for the gauge…?

I think you need to purchase an adaptor that is sandwiched between your oil filter and the block. Much like an oil cooler would have.

Then again, maybe there is a fitting right off the oil filter connection (insert title here)

I put mine in with an oil filter sandwich and it works great. Best way i could think of to do it.

i was reading somewhere that you can T off by the sender by the oil filter…where can i find an oil sandwich locally?

thank you

Buy a T and tee if off the oile pressure sending unit right by the filter and you will be good to go! unless u have a sandwich…the T will cost you no more then 10 bucks!

ThATS a more accurate reading, i recommend what he has ^. I took my factory sender out, seeing i now have a oil pressure gauge.

i would still recomend keeping the sender in there! for just incase sake!

nonono

you want to scrap that oil sending unit and buy a 1/8 in. NPT Female to 1/8 in. BSPT Male
with a expensive braided oil line with a mechanical gauge, this way y ou know 100% sure your oil pressure is correct
