I’ve got an oil pressure guage to hook up and i want to keep my oem oil pressure sensor. I want to avoid using T’s to hook up the oil pressure sending unit. I was told there is a extra port on the oem oil filter bracket on the sr that has a plug in it. I was thinking of connecting the sending unit in that port to avoid using ‘T’ fittings.
Can anyone confirm if there really is an extra port on the filter bracket?
If anyone has a motorset, if you can take a look for me i would appreciate it. Its a bitch to see with the motor in the car.
I only see one port for an oil pressure hookup and thats the stock switch
port. It’s the hole directly to the right of the filter hookup.
I don’t think there’s anywhere else anywhere near that, that you can hook
up a line to. :dunno:
I’m using the Greddy sandwich adaptor for the oil pressure and oil temp guages.
did you have to use a different oil filter with that adapter?
No. I use the same oil filter for my SR. i used K&N part# HP-1003
