Shooting all 3 would be bad though, because then it makes it much harder to claim they have a gun (when chances are they didn’t). If you’re going to shoot at people from your 2nd story window you need to let at least one get away. Then when he’s caught and claims none of them had a gun the cops can just assume he tossed it.
