So I still cant get over my dislike of all hyundai products and my mindset of it being a second rate brand. But the more ads i continue to see about the genesis coupe the more I kind of want to take a look at one when they come out. Even though the body styling is a blatent copy of the new g37 lol.

Oh does anyone know if it is true that the base model turbo motor is pretty much the exact same 4b11 turbo motor that is in the 09 ralliart?

Although its a good deal for what you getting… I don’t think alot of people will be buying them.

Hyundai is super enticing, but the car market is just absolute shit. Maybe in a few years after everything gets straitened out.

Wouldn’t mind picking one up in a few years for a track car :slight_smile:

At least it looks more like a real yellow now. There used to be a hyundai at UB about 2-3 years ago that was yellow but it was like a light mustard color. It looks pathetic and cheap.

Second vid, 2:03 “looking at the speedo” OOPS! Cool car nonetheless. Hyundai and sports car are words that you don’t expect to hear in the same sentence, it’ll be interesting to see if sales take off.

The speaker guy at the end of all Hyundai commercials now sounds like he is excited that the company he does ads for finally is making something he might like…

This car is going to be as big as Hyundai is banking on.

Perfect time for it to come out… before Toyota launches theirs, after Honda takes their’s away… way cheaper than anyone else will be. I am hearing $26k CDN out the door with a 10 eyar warranty and tha assurance… frig thats awesome.

i know retialers are stocking up on parts for the G-coupe already and all of the aftermarket parts manufacturers are racing to bring the upgrades to market first.

Will be a terrific comparison! Yea Hyundai’s warranty will be double of that of Nissan’s and most likely cost less but performance wise they sound be very close!
