hyundai is set to PWN u

I’m talking about the competition for the 2010 car we’re talking about here. The average for the competitors of this car will be right around it’s weight and certainly within it’s power to weight ratio. Your car won’t be a competitor of the 2010 Genesis coupe because they killed your car off in 2006. If they re-release the RSX, which they won’t because it doesn’t fit Acura’s brand image, it would be on a new platform that would almost certainly be over 3k lbs.

I’m just tired that every post about a new car has someone posting “OMG that’s heavy”. No, it’s heavy compared to your 10 year old car.

oh just hush and tool around in your 11,127lb dumbestic.

Now 3725lbs for a 2 door coupe, that is heavy. But at least it has enough power to offset the weight.

Of course, each new model makes it look less and less overweight. By 2015 it will probably be a lightweight.

Orly? enough power eh? wanna line em up? :stuck_out_tongue:

I’ll line up stock for stock with anyone. I won’t win all, but I’ll win a hell of a lot more than I lose.

Stock vs mod is apples vs oranges. :stuck_out_tongue:

dude, stock longblock all day. But this is totally OT, I’ll stop.

2877 lbs 08 civic si, 197hp

umm, yea.

already been covered.

i completely forgot what we are discussing now…But either way, that comparison is the hp of a v6 to a i4. Not comparable imo. Maybe the 4 turbo vs the civic si would be comparable. In which case its only something like 30more hp, while still being 400lbs heavier, assuming it still weighs near 3400lbs.

YOU DRIVE AN AUDI

no they are not all made of hard plastic textured to look like a material that is much softer… not all cars are f bodies :stuck_out_tongue:

v6 is comparable to I4T… what are you talking about? We’re talking power:weight.

Nvm.

the “waterfall” looks out of place and cheap, the LCD is cheesy at best, the knob is the size of an apple.

yay

That comparison showed that the v6 genesis has 113 more hp than a civic si. I was saying that the turbo 4 genesis is more comparable to the civic si, as they both have 4 bangers. But right…all that matters is power to weight ratio. This is a ptless discussion really.

the vents make it look like an SUV for some reason.

question: is this a MAF based car?
looks like coilpacks?

i like this car… boost the V6… 400whp, coilovers, rims… GO!!!

KDM bitch… mutha fuckin KDM!!!

edit*** i just realised, i’d take a used 350z / G35 coupe instead and do the same thing.

4cyl Turbo =! 4cyl NA.

who cares what the dash is made out of.

you touch the seat, the steering wheel, the pedals and the shifter. why should the dash be all soft and supple. you hit the airbag in a crash anyway. its not like you take a nap lying on the dash. “man, this dash is terrible to sleep on, its hard as a rock!” wtf…

there are better things to complain about… like the weight of new vehicles… yes jay… i dont care about safety features and yes im going to die in my reliant. if those wine and cheese fags would quit wanting silent interiors and leather on every surface and safety nazis would be more reasonable, cars would be light again… oh yeah, a good dose of passion over greed in the auto industry might help too.

i like the car over all with the low point being the front end. the concept and the current one look alot better.

its definitely a cool upgrade for hyundai. i wanna see billy fucillo get in and out of one. that would be a laugh.

Brian

I know. But clearly they had the Tib in mind when they went in. I was just comparing the other styling cues they used in their other predominant coup.

how about i complain about the door panels that my arms have to touch? even the center armrest looks like plastic, and i am sure the cost cutting doesn’t stop there. they said they want to compete with the likes of honda and toyota. they are NOT doing it.

but i am preaching to a mopar guy, i am sure you have seen your fair share of substandard interiors
