On my way back from dropping off my friend in Hamburg last night. On a windy back road I catch a deer in my peripheral running towards the road. This my friends was the diversion deer. As he passed my car I slowed down enough to avoid him, but of course deer # 2 scoots out in front of the road and I pegged him doing about 25mph on my passenger side. His head/neck hit my qp/housing and did this…
That’s right, he shit out of his neck onto my qp. It’s alright though, the b5 isn’t too much worse for wear, just going to need a headlight housing and a bandaid diecut sticker from one of our lovely vendors.

Which remind me… anyone got the hookup on at the very least a cheap corner housing. Hit me up!!!
In one sense I can agree with where you are coming from but in another I feel it’s the exact opposite. I drive approximately 45k a year and with the exception of my “bad” crash about a year ago, I have had a pretty flawless record when it comes to my previous cars. I have owned over 10 up to this point and all have been incredibly clean and well kept. Right now this Audi has 152k on the clock and excluding rock chips and minor scuffs, this is the first blemish I have ever put on the car. Mechanically she is still PERFECT and i’ll just clean up that corner a bit and run her into the ground. She doesn’t owe me a fucking dime.
Also, the way I see it, I’m lucky as hell I hit the damn thing at such a low speed and not doing fucking 75 on the thruway. It can always be worse.
Lately though you are somewhat correct:
A4-This
STI-Ringland crack and rebuilt
Civic-Uhhh ripped in half, minor fender bender in parking lot prior to accident
Well the shit is still on the car, but everything else seems to be sorted out. I’ll be able to smooth out the fender enough to not have to worry about a new one. I honestly don’t give enough of a fuck. All the body lines look good and besides the corner housing, all is well. The headlight housing broke 2 brackets but nothing else cracked and she’ll stay in there for the rest of my time with the car.
All I need to find is a cheap corner and i’ll be all set:tup: Audi’s are solid.
and yeah… the car is back to good with the housing and bulb removed and the socket taped off with electrical. I’m in no serious rush and would prefer to scoop up something local on the cheap. Prolly gonna have to order something though as i’m not having much luck finding anything ATM.
