I had that happen to me with my first car, only the lady hit me and I went into oncoming traffic and was able to pull into a side road before I or anyone else got him…shits scary. I wouldn’t drive for like 3 weeks after that

dude. i am sure you already know, but get the accident report faxed to your insurance company ASAP. after i faxed mine, i had a price like 2 days later, and got a check like 2 after that.

the other guy’s insurance will pay for everything. he rear ended you. it is 100% his fault. he will pay for a rental for you, as well as any hospital visit!
some might have to be covered under NYS no-fault. It doesn’t make your insurance go up if you use it but the medical is under his own name. I spent a day in the hospital after my accident and all my forms from the hospital needed to be under my no-fault. I think that’s mandatory in an accident like this because he was 100% not at fault.
