38k miles, track proven, $$$ parts, clean as all hell.
It wasn’t that fast in a straight line but man was it fun to drive in the twisties, on a track or at an autocross.
its a z28 that was sprayed half way to the moon lol, im surprised that you got that much with the way the market has been for these cars as of late. But good for u if someone wanted to give me 16 for mine it would be gone :tup:
Does yours have ~40k miles? The fact of how perfect mine was and low miles is why it sold for that much. Most examples that clean get 14+
Listening to guys here, as well as all the old men I’ve ever talked with, continues to keep me from ever selling my Mustang. Bought that car when I was 16 as a theft recovery, built it with my dad…even though it’s not my most desired car I know if I parted with it I’d be bummin.

it was fun to cruise around in a car with the t-tops off, and i liked how the profile of the car was, how it rode. Stupid LT1. Maybe i’ll own one someday again… LS1 of course

Still miss my racecar 6 years after letting it go… I really have to finish my 49 Chevy so I might be able to afford a racecar again. (I really may be crazy)
Mine now is in the 60’s… when i bought it in '07, it was in the high 40’s. It had a 9 inch, cam, built trans, FAST 90/90, suspension out the wazoo, qa1’s on all 4’s, 2 sets of wheels and fully loaded and i got it for $13,500, i guess i got a schweet deal

lol you make it sound like i am knocking it :gotme: Im just surprised you got that much for it, i have seen some CLEAN sexy F bods going for dirt cheap recently. Makes me wish i would have waited another year to buy a car, i could have gotten more car for the price i paid with a little shopping around.
