I-Pod or Zune

Ive been doing some research between the two and i’m leaning towards the zune a bit because some of its features the I - pod dosent offer, What do you guys think ? I dont know too much about these mp3, video, picture players

I like my iPod shuffle, but if I had to choose between iPod video or Zune I’d go with the Zune.

I actually dont like using iTunes.

I bought my gf a Zen Micro last year for xmas and I love how you just drop and drag the mp3’s onto the Mp3 drive folder.

Plus the screen is 1000000000 X better than the ipod

No one has ever been able to explain the ipod craze to me. I don’t get it. Why would people want to deal with all the proprietary bullshit for a device that doesn’t do anything special? I’ll take a standard USB cable, drag & drop, normal user replaceable batteries, and a lower price thank you.

I guess marketing > ignorant consumers? Am I missing something? :gotme:

Well anyway i think the allure with the ipod is now more about being trendy with the newest one. There was a time when they were the best out there but now the zune seems to be better to me? I don’t know for sure never really used a zune.

:word: i hate itunes and love the fact my Zen Vision is just drag and drop right from Windows Explorer or Wimamp and doesnt use any proprietary Apple BS.

I picked up the new shuffle and love it… but have a zune too…much better then the video. Def get the zune…WAYYYY better features and functionality

i have a 2gig ipod nano, a 30 gig ipod video, and a 30 gig creative labs… the ipods are ok, but once the novelty of the “ipod” wears off, its just a DECENT mp3 player. wouldnt call them exceptional at all… plus, i hate itunes. my creative, although about a year old and bigger than the ipods, much easier to use. +10 for drag and drop, and it doesnt check to make sure the songs on the device match the songs on the computer… so you can borrow a friends library. it is possible with the ipod, but its a little more work. never used a zune but from what i have read, they sound pretty pimp!

^^ again my answer is still because it uses itunes… itunes is way better for organizing media and syncing up plain and simple. I don’t even have an ipod, I have an RCA, but the fiance has an ipod and i’d rather use itunes than anything else hands down.

Another cool thing about the zune is its all going to be touch screen soon, and the widescreen for movies
