Correct, its an incon kit. . . the engine pictured is a guy name Harlan’s engine I believe he had bigger turbos than my buddy’s CE. They both have the same type of kit and actually my buddy in dayton has a spare one that came off the car thats getting the T88. Stage II Incon kit I believe, i think they want $6-7K for it, complete fuel system and everything.

The incon kits are great for sleeper cars. Those turbo’s are pretty hard to see down there at a glance. To bad incon went under finding parts is a real PITA.

:dunno: They looked like stock to me to. But incon had some cast for other kits, same with there turbo housings. Thats why there a PITA to find parts for.

good idea just impractabel
The TA I rode in had Kenny Brown Double Diamond SFCs.
And the turbo isn’t as low as you’d think. I took a few pics w/ my camera phone, maybe I’ll borrow a friend’s data cable and get 'em up. Funny thing is you can’t really see the Turbo in the pics cuz I didn’t get way under the car. But yes, with a bump that is ‘just wrong’ you could take the turbo out. Speed bumps aren’t an issue cuz the turbo is so close to the axle that the tires will be up on the bump as the turbo goes over. It’d have to be some sort of bump that would just go down the middle of the car… Of course if your car is anything like mine that sort of bump would take out your front subframe anyway (I can’t even get a floor jack under mine).
And so I’m supposed to think this kit is junk because it won’t pull the wheels like a $8k+ discontinued Incon TT kit on a 382!?! Funny how that car started out as a ‘stock LS1 w/ 8psi’ and now we hear it’s a lot more than that.
I’m not saying there’s not nicer kits out there. But this kit is less than half of most others, and does deliver results. The efficiency matter is yet to be settled.
As I stated in the og thread on this issue the turbo loses the benifit of the still expanding exhaust gasses at the manifold, but gains the benifit of a denser exhaust charge to spin the turbine. How it all balances out is still to be determined. All I can say for now is that this thing hit boost INSTANTLY.

I never said it was more. The pic you see and the 9.60 time slip is on 8-10 psi on a stock bottom end 346ci motor. At what point did I contradict myself?
The 382 setup is a TOTALLY different car.
EDIT: I do apologize, its not a 9.60 timeslip, its a 9.85, same pressure and all. Had the times mixed up between the CE and Taner’s car.
