I think this is the perfect combination. Luxury and speed. I think this would be a nice platform to start a drift car which can be driven home in comfort.
The car is a little bit heavy so it understeers quite a bit and is a little sluggish than it should be. All it really has is Tein S-Tech with blown struts so that may have accentuated the handling.
The engine wasn’t too bad to put in. quite a bit of fabricating, but not something out of our reach.
Hope you guys like it, because I love this car so much, I’ll be replicating it again.
Chris>when I get a J30 gonna buy Allan’s wheels LOL! When you picking up that 2way lsd?!?!?!
Rob>Q45 is pimp, but rather put an RB26 into that, it’s got more room! Actually, I’m pretty sure we could fit a RB26 into a J30… hmmm… where’s the measuring tape? :E
why dont you try somthing origonal and cut holes in the floor boards and go flinstone style.
I agree rb26-30 will be more pimp. Thats prettty sweet though. Me like!!!
I have a friend in AUSI that droped the VQ45 into a Silvia. I will ask him for pictures. He said it sucked though and the RB26 was way better all around.
And i dunno, school has taken over and i havent been to calgary for ever but i assure you i will be picking it up eventually, you know as well as i do that i need it very badly!! Is my spring there yet??
cresta with 1j or 2j has been done many mant times. Its not as origonal as a swap like this one. I am thinking of throwing in a 1JZ into a Cefiro early next month. We will see.
