I think it's time for some creative cooling.

UPDATE: My brother loaned me the windshield washerfluid tank from his 94 taurus, which happens to include a nifty 12VDC water pump. I’ve attached the whole tank to the side of the of my ancient case. And ran lines to the homemade water-block.

Result Currently running it at 1267MHz like it was last night, and it’s now running around 55-60C,compaired to last night where it was around 82C at the same clock speed.

Looks like I’ll be bumping the speed back up soon.

So to tally total supplies needed costs:
-Watertank/pump = Free!
-Duct-tape to hold said tank to side of computer
-Water for said tank
-1/4" diameter copper tubing ($4.10)
-Old Heatsink that could be cut-up
-4 feet of 1/4" flexable clear vinyl tubing ($2)

Pros:
-Runs nice and cool now
-No more BSoDs
-Gaming ahoy!

Cons:
-Pump is noisy
-If rednecks owned computers. You would find a picture of this beast in the dictionary.

Total money left in bank account ($35)
Price of A/C, more than I could afford pal.

I’ll post pics later it looks so fucking goofy. But for a water cooling I could use my spare change for I’m not compaining:lol:
