I use to work for Johnson and Johnson in there medical development company, Otho Clinical Diagnostics, we had something similar to that Atomizer. It made the paper into peices about the size of a spec of glitter. It was basicly powder. It was loud as hell and you could throw in a whole ream(500 sheets) plastic, metal, cds, anything that was important. I through in a whole spiral bound notebook and it just made more noise. I asked one of the service guy how it works, he said it basicly just rubs the paper into tiny bits, it has massive opposing rollers of sandpaper that spin in opposite directiosn at high rpms.

I worked for a private investigation firm for a few years… and one of my duties was to piece together shredded material that the investigators found. If you only shred things into rows then it’s pretty easy to piece the stuff back together. The cross cut stuff took me a lot longer, but it can still be done. Obviously the smaller the cut sizes, the better.

   hmmm.  I have to empty my POS file cabinet. ALl i have is old cable,phone, and other stupid receipts from last year, so im going with the regular row shredder.
