Hey guys,

Don’t worry Big Bird ain’t going anywhere just yet. I just want to gauge some interest.

1989 Nissan 240sx
‘Big Bird’ Yellow
194xxx km
SOHC KA24E motor
Car runs beautifully with no problems and pulls pretty hard.

Mods:
-KYB GR-2 w/ stock shocks
-5 Speed Swap
-H4 headlight housing & bulbs
-Exedy OEM replacement clutch disk
-Koyo throwout bearing
-Resurfaced flywheel
-Front strut tower bar (not pictured)
-JDM S13 Non-ABS VLSD (Not installed yet – Extra $200)
-OEM aero lip (Extra $50)
-Some crazy JDM short shifter (Extra $150)

I’ve owned the car for about 5 months. Has never shat on me.
Car is clean. Underbody is VERY clean. Very little rust.
Only hole on the car is in the trunk above the exhaust where EVERY S13 rusts due to no heat shield. Very easy fix, thin metal.
Both front fenders have TINY amounts of surface bubbling right above the wheel. Nowhere close to the frame or wheel well. So it’s not structural. This is an extremely easy fix for an am or pro body shop. They will sand it down and paint over it. Done. Easy.

The car’s interior is very clean. I’d give it a 9/10. It doesn’t even have that bolster rip that all S13’s get. Just some fading. The dash has a crack above the cluster. Was going to grab a new dash, probably still will.

The car attracts lots of attention. Turns heads everywhere I go. But surprisingly the cops don’t mind it. I’ve blown by some cops before and they did nothing. Definitely not a hostile color.

serious notes, hows the clutch. still tight or is it starting to slip?
noticed you didnt mention a rear strut bar. are the rear struts starting to flex either way or are they still in normal position(if u never did donuts or serious drifts with this car then it should be good, if u beat on her a bit cause its a 240 after all then eye it up and respond)

As you can see IF you were to read my post lol. Brand spanking new Exedy OEM replacement clutch with about 1500km on it. Grabs VERY firm. Great feel.

The car has never been drifted. I drive like a granny. I didn’t change my driving style with the car. Rear struts are fine, zero rust. No there isn’t a rear STB.

I bought the car because it was clean. I don’t care much about the color. But it does look pretty nice, especially at night.

Oh hahahah, and the glasses are for sale. PM me for details. Let’s just say… if you ain’t ballin… you can’t afford these :wink:

Car is certified and 97% rust free. Anyone who has seen it can attest to it.

I took the car to Gabe at JapaneseImports earlier today and he thought the car was very clean. We went for a rip, and he enjoyed the power and the excellent clutch feel.

The price is now semi firm. I will humor offers lower than $4000. The reason it is so high, is because I took the time and money to get the car running the way it should. 5 speed and NEW exedy clutch. TONS spent in maintenance, fluid flushes are done frequently to keep her fresh.
