if VW makes this, they will be > Honda

yes because it’s a concept car designed by volkswagen inc. and HPA motorsports to show that the company is finally starting to acknowledge the HUGE enthusiast backing that they have. will north america or even europe ever see 400 whp jettas from the factory? hell no, and if it happens, i’ll buy this whole board one.

that’s so cute.

Hot, does that come in turbo?

Thats pretty sweet

Why is this being compared to Hondas? Aside from the super-exotic-why-bother-mentioning-the-company’s-anomoly NSX, Honda’s not into big power cars. I haven’t finished my morning coffee so I may be forgetting something obvious, but has Honda ever made a car that left the showroom with more than 300 crank horse? It would be very difficult for VW to approach Honda’s build quality, but comparing a 500+ HP AWD Jetta to Honda is like saying that a diesel Chevy 3500 makes GM much greater than Hyundai. :bloated:

What is this garbage?

LOL!

Nice, ROFL to it being Auto

Damn that is hot! I’d f-ing buy one.

It’s a DSG transmission

In it’s defense…

To ensure that every bit of the torque gets to the ground in the most entertaining way possible, HPA fit VW’s highly acclaimed DSG twin-clutch transmission and 4MOTION all-wheel drive

I still don’t see any paddle shifters… Maybe one of those buttons on the steering wheel gears up and down

edit: beat me to it

3 pedals > 2

DSG

id buy one if the wheel had more lip…

^ and a 195 tire that was stretched on there yo

that shit would be sweet if it comes here but still honda>veedub all day long

I dont care, you lose the driving experience with any assisted transmission, in my opinion. So what if it shifts alittle faster or smoother… I still think its not as fun.

automatic

its no malibu

if they made this, i would buy it…id sell the focus and buy that shit, no matter how many jobs id have to work, i absolutely love it

EDIT: if it came stick

:word:

All sweet TTV6s are heavy pigs.

They are still hoTT though. /

a tranny that shifts faster than you or anyone else on this site ever will.

and the paddles can’t be seen but they are behind the steering wheel. and i’m not saying that i would go for a DSG personally, but again, that car is to showcase VW performance, ergo it has a tranny that shifts in 0.2 seconds.
