I just bought an M3 with all important maintenance records for less than $15k with less than 100k.
thinkin about picking one up once the mk5 sells that 49mpg is hard to pass by.

so reading up a bit and it seems those b6 s4 do have some serious chain guide problems, but with any high performance car there always seem to be some sort of huge potential for failure with bmw its vanos units.
so now im starting to really look into e46 m3’s and if i dont find anything i like ill go and buy another m5
used is350 would be close to your price range, 300+hp, and toyota reliability. just something a little different. unforuntately only offered in an automatic.
