i am looking for an e46 m3 six speed coupe. doesn’t matter what color just not phoenix yellow. i would like to have black interior. i am willing to spend around 17-18K. please help me out and i am continuing to look myself.
Stfu Jeff. You want something different everyday. An M3 is way to cool for you anyways, stick to your fbods.
For $18k it is going to be a high mileage (100k+), no service history and probably not that well taken care off, good luck with that
EDIT: and an 01 or 02
welcome to nyspeed

SRSLY after seeing the cost of replacement drivetrain parts I am afraid to modify my M5. I want to supercharge it so bad.
either year and i think i might just buy the one at my work. its carbon black with black interior.
how much? i thought you were buying a vette>!>!
no go on the vette i want something newer for once. and i havent talked numbers yet. but i hope to get it for less than 20.
2002 oxford green 91K ?
I’d let it go for 20K
Compression and leakdown perfect last year, just changed all the brakes, rotors, pads. An extra set of HP+ pads
Let me know
ur sig is a very nice advertisement for ur car lol
When the fuck did you start thinking about selling the car?
You find some great deals right now on E46 M’s… go to M3forum, Bimmerforums, M3post.
I’ve seen some incredible deals if you can bump your price (IE fully loaded 05’s with 40k go for 23)
^id like lower miles, but yea… thats always been an idea on the back burner… i just hate the interior look w/o nav… seems so basic…
hows the maintenance schedule on these? what problems are they known for?
Vanos failure
Rear subframe failure
and you don’t even want to know the service intervals… FML… and I got mine low mileage
even though the e36 is out dated and doesn’t compare to an e46…i was very surprised with the aftermarket and the costs of most parts. VERY cheap!
I just wouldn’t want a higher mileage e46 with out heavy service records.
i would travel to save a few grands if i were you.
deals on low mile e46 m3’s are out there Jeff. You know what my brother just picked up right? 2002, 69k mi, full service history well south of the $20k mark.
DO IT!!
