i had reckless driving b4… def get a lawyer, its a class A mis. up to 1k max fine and 1 year in jail, hollaaa im glad i didnt go to the big housE

if you get caught being an asshat you deserve it. maybe they should impound the bike and take your lisence? you will not get any advice other then get a lawyer, if there was something more simple you wouldnt look for help here.
i once stole a cop car, i admitted to everything up front and the judge can read character, its thier job. i did something dumb and they knew i wouldnt do it again given the chance. if they think your most likely to do it all again. they wont give you a break for being young or stupid, the way i see it is being an asshat in public gets you what you deserve. save the fun/dumb shit for back roads and not the streets with other cars. its really no different then being in a car racing some other douchebag through traffic and blowing stop signs and crap like that. youre putting yourself and others in danger.
rolling runs on open roads with no traffic is fine, getting caught by a off duty cop knowing someone was back there watching you …wow.

this will cost you at least 500 with a lawyer. and you may get to do it all over again later.
well i guess you deserve it. if you where doing it on public streets while there were cars around, your asking for it. If your lucky you can find a good lawyer, or your even luckier like me and your uncle is the DA.

I’d like to note that I kept a good distance between me and the van, I didn’t put it up when any cars where passing, and there was no one on the sidewalks or street. I think about this shit…because I care. A 250lb motorcycle will take out a kid in a hurry.

I think I’m gonna go with out a lawyer to the initial court appearance. If I don’t like the deal, I’ll plead not guilty and get a lawyer.

I have “Hooligan” written on the side of my bike on the white part. I saw the Captain read it, but he didn’t say anything about it. I thought he was going to though.
I did say something kinda funny to the Cap. tho. probably shouldn’t have, but I was discombobulated and it just came out.

be polite dress nicely… go to court without a lawyer… if this was buffalo, consider yourself blessed. Since its a misdemeanor you dont go to traffic court which means you can plea it down. Most likely your first day at court they will just ask how you plea and if you can afford a lawyer… next go back in a week and meet with the DA… or do as I did, just show up in court and dont meet with the DA. I’ve recieved multiple wreckless tickets… one in amherst (1200 bucks between court and lawyer fees, and 4 points) the other was buffalo… no points 60 bucks… parking ticket… ( I <3 judge carney)… good luck dude…
play the student card, apologize, wear a suit, yes sir, no sir, good afternoon your honor… etc etc… it should be ok…
