Um, the real fabric of America and capitalizm is not what you think by hardwork. It’s done by exploitation which we have done since the Monroe Doctrine and the declaration of self-determinition, dollar diplomacy, liberal-developmentalism. We havent worked for shit. We raped, pillaged and made other countries become our slaves due to loans and credit…only a select few have reaped from this benefit, and it certainly wasn’t the working class.
+1
Buy gun and come to my fathers place in the hills. We’ve got enough guns and ammo to ward off half of NYS. Need more people on the triggers.
It’s this shit that makes it so damn difficult for people like you or myself decide on what to do with small businesses such as ours. A predicament it is. I’m not up on economics these days, but I know defacing the value of the US dollar sure as shit isn’t going to make things any easier/better.
I think american pride and the “we can do no wrong/we’re the best” attitude from all the years past is going to rear it’s ugly head in an awefull way in the near future.
.
Servant becoming master. you may get it, but the argument falls flat depending on adgenda. China was exploited, but China gained huge wealth… and so on. We can site labors of slavery as well. I refuse to be told to hate my country for its indiscretions , I choose to love it for its opportunity. Where is better I ask you ? You sound disgruntled and I will not argue other than to say, America, Love it or Leave it. Evidently many love it, and no one is leaving (except Jesse Ventura!)
Your views of banking are in line with mine to a point. But where you and I am is a fork in the road.
Adam, when Red Dawn hits, I’m coming your way and making an igloo in that snowdrift.
yeah, that’s it…:vlad
too bad we’ve never seen a real communist state…
I have been watching lots of Man vs. Wild and Survivor Man so I can just go into the wood and live when the world comes to an end.
I also bought a zombie apocolypse survival guide
Well the world goes to hell, I’m going to Patternsonville to take up arms with the Hennessy clan.
This made me throw up. You say exploit, I say do business. Economics is run off giving (supply) people with what they want (demand). If people want dirt cheap loans, we’re going to give them to them and make a profit.
Made other countries become out slaves with loans and credit? What are you talking about? If anything we’re a slave to the countries that hold our MASSIVE American debt.
Did you rip that off a blog or did the socialist teachers and professors of upstate NY warp another mind?
Nevermind, I dont feel like doing this argument again. :rofl
But all you short-sighted whiners with your “save me mommy” attitude are the reason this sucks so hard.
And I will do my best not to post anymore. And I’m out. Super seriously. :shifty
no blog, no socialist professors taught me this. here is a good book for you to read. Spreading the American Dream by Emily S. Rosenberg.
Yes, we exploited countries and it was for the benefit of the American elites. It started with our conquest of Latin America and the Monroe Doctrine stating that European nations need to stay away from the Western Hemisphere as we are the sole country that should have any say in what happens over here. We paid off the “loans” that these countries had to Spain, England, France, etc. so that they would be under our power.
We expanded to the Pacific and Asia as we saw a new market to exploit and get cheap goods and labor from. This isn’t some for of abstract thinking here; this is common knowledge.
People need to start reading the constitution. We are FAR from it.
How is that a bad thing? It’s business people doing business, gaining power, making money. It’s the buying and selling of goods and services.
If I wanted to sell a car for half of its value, are you exploiting me by buying it? No your completing a transaction. No one held a gun to either of our heads.
I dont doubt the history for a second, I’m well aware of it.
Edit: Frick, THIS is my last post. :shifty
Adam save me a spot, me the girl and baby will be there… The baby will grow up to make more babies…
The girl will cook and put out…
and ill drink and shoot zombies err I mean goverment officials
i forget what country, but there was a country in africa that just kept producing more currency because there thought process was that the more money they printed the more spending power they had but it backfired and there currency became useless
I say with all our firepower we have on here… We break into a bang, steal a bunch of money, run to europe and exhange it for euros… sit on it for awhile add some more to it…
then transfer it back to ameros as needed and profit…
Or we can bring it all to mexico and buy the damn country with it
Or we can buy gold
+1, we can have a shift518cash4gold.com website
i think you are talking about zimbabwe. however, there is a lot more to it than your story…
When you don’t even have enough money to eat… then you can bitch all you want, but until this gets worse than the great depression, which i doubt it will, stop complaining. Yah it sucks that times aren’t the best right now… whether or not you can blame it on one man who just got into office, im not sure either. The majority of people are still living comfortably, we are all just too used to a level of high comfortability that it becomes difficult to cope when the level of living decreases. If you are so worried that America will fall, then sell what is not a necessity and buy precious metals so that you will have something to barter with.
im sure there is, just giving a general example of what printing to much money can do
So what is the argument that this will actually help our economy?
For some reason I like to think that the people we’ve elected into office aren’t purposely going to end the world, somebody, apparently lots of people, think this is going to help.
How could it help?
