As the CEO of this organization, I have resigned myself to the fact that Barrack Obama is our President and that our taxes and government fees will increase in a BIG way. To compensate for these increases, our prices would have to increase by about 10%. But since we cannot increase our prices right now due to the dismal state of the economy, we will have to lay off six of our employees instead. This has really been bothering me, since I believe we are family here and I didn’t know how to choose who would have to go. So, this is what I did. I walked through our parking lot and found six “Obama '08” bumper stickers on employee cars and have decided these folks will be the ones to let go. I can’t think of a more fair way to approach this problem. They voted for change, I gave it to them. I will see the rest of you at the annual company picnic.
Now before this gets out of hand, I will say that I received this in an e-mail in a form of a joke. It is NOT something from my company that our CEO sent us.
Stop with this bullshit. Wall Street was like a well oiled machine, AIG/Citibank were printing on paper made with gold, the DOW was at 14000, people were buying GMs like hotcakes, and the housing market was perfect. Then, Obama took office and it just went to the shitter.
Christ get out of my head… I remember it exactly the same. gas was like 1.25 / gal. Unemployment was 1/2%, Employers were fighting to hire. Then The dark cloud came in… Jan 2, 2009.
Whatever… those that work hard and are smart will do better than those that dont and arnt… just not quite as much better than before.
Im a dummy so I just hope I can find a bus to jump on… like one of those busses you see in India…with all those people hanging off. Singh and I be chillin with our Euros in Mumbai.
Did you make that up? I would love to see what CEO wrote that. Bush fucked all of this up and now Obama is supposed to fix it in 2 months? Its not like things were on their way back up when Bush left.
Edit: nevermind i see it was just another stupid obama bashing chain letter
