I am going to get a laptop soon since I don’t own a machine. I know a couple people at IBM that will hopefully hook me up, but does any one know of any other deals?

Dell has the best deals
my wife bought it for me. it is a HP pavilion a730n it has the new pentium 4 with hyper threading, dvd +rw and alot of other crap that i don’t know what it is. It came with a flat screen monitor and a printer/scanner/copier.
she uses Dell at work, and gets a discount on them. but for some reason only wanted a HP.
We can get the Dell employee purchase program prices through work too, but it turned out to be cheaper to just get one of their regular special price deals.

Dell has a “refurbished” section on their website… check it out.
That is exactly what I decided. The HP are good machines and they were offering several rebates to bring the price down.
Trainer???
One more thing… Notice he loves the machine but makes no mention of the wife that bought it for him…
