YOU ARE FUCKED
99999=59,049 possible combos…go to town
Word. Start at 11111. You’ll get it eventually.
it’s probably just 0-0-0-0-0, thats what my DVD players parental control code is atleast…lol
.
Dude. It’s a safe you don’t have the combination for. Gotta destroy it.
it’s not called an unsafe for a reason.

If it was changed from the default though you may be SOL. Start trying.
If he actually has things that he needs out of it, get out the tools and get going on it.
Have you called Sentry yet?
seriously 59000 combos isnt that bad…do a couple thousand a day and youll get it.
your bro should have bought one with a keypad and key backup. My parents have had issues with safes on cruise ships with metal shavings not allowing the electronic keypad to unlock it. did you call sentry? there has to be a master code
It would be 5C10, not 5C9, so 100,000, not 59,000. 0-9 = 10 numbers.
You don’t have the combination of a safe and are getting irritated that people are telling you to take a sledge to it? Would it really make sense if every safe had a magic code you could use to reset to combination if you forgot it? That would completely defeat the point.
You could try drilling it if you have a very good, durable drill and either expendable or very durable drill bits. You could also try thermite on the hinge, if the contents aren’t exceptionally flammable.

:picard:
that would defeat the point
if they just give out the code to anyone who calls
then there would not need to be a code at all, since it would stop being a “combination keeps criminals out,” and become a “criminals have to call 1-800-4-SENTRY to open this”
Beat me to it.
You’re moving up on my list.
.
is there any type of web site that can calculate the most common codes? or anything like that?
I would hope not, because it would defeat the whole purpose of having a safe. I know with my keypad access gun safe there is the keypad and a key backup. If you lose the key and forget the keypad the process for getting a replacement key is spelled out in the manual. It involves the serial, a notarized letter, the original proof of purchase and a bunch of other stuff to prove you own the safe. Even then, they just send a new key and it takes 6-8 weeks.
Your best bet is probably tearing into it with a drill and hammer. Most residential safes aren’t designed to be tamper proof. No massive bolts slamming shut should you try to drill into it ect. They’re simply designed to make getting into them too noisy and long of a process for a thief to bother with. If you really want to save the safe call a locksmith and see how much they would charge to crack it without causing permanent damage. Getting it open without damaging it will be much much harder than simply destroying it.
