No. 2.0 making 700WHP is impressive but, overall, it really isn’t anything great/new/special to the import world. This happens all the time but some don’t realize it. I am having a hard time explaining what I mean. 
i know 700hp is nothing new in most platforms, but 700whp on GASOLINE is new to the 1.8t world. 700whp has only been done on a “1.8T” on alcohol before this car. so it is actually quite significant. but having zero knowledge of the platform and the progress the engine has made, it would seem insignificant.
