I’d go Infiniti. Living with a late model Japanese Car >>>> Living with an older bimmer. The Volvo’s certainly nice too. I’d just prefer the Infiniti.
This is quite a step up over a 15 year old Buick. Must be one hell of a job you have lined up.

Your list of possible cars is the same as my list of possible cars. LoL. Except the m45, because no matter how much I love that car, I cant buy it because it doesnt come standard.
I wanted a 530i, and v70r but the maintenance costs also are stopping me from committing to buying one.
From what I have read on the 5series and s60R/v70R, they are both going to need a complete front suspension overhaul at some point in their (relatively) early life.
The 5 will also need a cooling system overhaul, and I guess the seals on the VANOS go and thats a good buck if you have to go to the dealer. I know there are people on here who know more about BMWs, so hopefully they will chime in.
If you look at the basic specs of the three cars, they are all pretty much the same mileage wise, and front what I can tell after sitting in all of them except the M45, comfort too. But I would guess that the BMW is going to out handle the Volvo, and definitely the M45.
I dont know what your preference is on transmission, but all of these cars (minus the M45) can be had with a 6 speed or an automatic.
I threw the Audi A6 2.7T in since thats in the same class pretty much, and might be another good choice.
Obviously if your looking to make more power than stock, the Volvo and the Audi would be your two choices.

lets just say its a 150% increase in salary.
I have been going by edmunds.com stats for a while now, I am not really too sure how accurate fueleconomy.gov is. They say my Camry gets 17 and 24 when I avg. 25. And I am not really a conservative driver.
fueleconomy.gov has really low MPG ratings because they have everything adjusted for the new epa standards
infinity is so pimp, the cars are soo soo nice. my buddy had an 03 G35 and it was just so nice, god damn i want one now
get the m45 they are pimp as fuck, and you dont see many, and when u do see one cruising around i bet u stop and look at it.
volvo’s are for old ladies dont do it…
