if they arent substantially larger than the G35’s they are too small
and im not talking about the G35 sedans or G37 sedans becuase they are ugly. Im talking about the coupes.
Trunk is to small
Basic maintenence I can have done for cheap, like brakes, and standard things. I know infiniti parts arent cheap either but they are generally less complicated and not german engineered lol
Your list of possible cars is the same as my list of possible cars. LoL. Except the m45, because no matter how much I love that car, I cant buy it because it doesnt come standard.
I wanted a 530i, and v70r but the maintenance costs also are stopping me from committing to buying one.
From what I have read on the 5series and s60R/v70R, they are both going to need a complete front suspension overhaul at some point in their (relatively) early life.
The 5 will also need a cooling system overhaul, and I guess the seals on the VANOS go and thats a good buck if you have to go to the dealer. I know there are people on here who know more about BMWs, so hopefully they will chime in.
If you look at the basic specs of the three cars, they are all pretty much the same mileage wise, and front what I can tell after sitting in all of them except the M45, comfort too. But I would guess that the BMW is going to out handle the Volvo, and definitely the M45.
I dont know what your preference is on transmission, but all of these cars (minus the M45) can be had with a 6 speed or an automatic.
I threw the Audi A6 2.7T in since thats in the same class pretty much, and might be another good choice.
Obviously if your looking to make more power than stock, the Volvo and the Audi would be your two choices.

2003 540i: I chose the 03 because I am going to assume your not a Bangle lover. LoL

and it never did burn, just wasnt aesthetically pleasing.
amspimpwagon. Audis have been thought of, but there front suspension and maintenence and fix it horror stories pushed me away.
my mom has a base S60 with the T5 and 5 speed. Its a blast even with the 237 horses.
Its a little on the smaller side, and doesnt quite have the balla status that the BMW or Infiniti do.
I was looking at the newer gen M45s they look a whole lot better and have been refined and if you get the sport model i guess hug the road pretty damn well.
While I wont be hauling stuff or people alot, its gonna be a vehicle i will have for at least 7 years if not more so it needs to fit into the I might have kids in that timeframe window.
I’m gonna go test drive the 3 candidates pretty soon and that will greatly influence my decision.
Choice one is nice, modern, much cheaper to maintain.
Choice 2 is okay, they all have a very dated looking style and i’ve heard many horror stories.
Choice 3 is blah, BMW’s are like sphincters, every asshole has one, They’re very dated looking, the interior is bland, and upkeep can get very expensive very quick.
I think the infinity is a good call if you ask me.
