I’ve owned one as my first car a few years ago and loved it.
Now i got a chance at a turbo 200sx ca18et.
I wanna know is there any thing i should check out on these cars? for problems and stuff wise. or does any one have any thoughts on this?

most importantly check the turbo for shaft play and how much oil is built up in the intercooler pipes. Find out what the factory compression specs are for the motor either in the online FSM’s or the dealership should be able to tell you what they are and make sure you get it compression tested.
Well there is no intercooler i was reading on a site that they never came with a intercooler from factory.
If that is the case, just look in the intake hose leading up to the throttle body
No there is no stock intercooler. Don’t worry too much about the turbo. Its tiny anyways and if its fucked, you can pick up an SR20 turbo for $100-200. It’s a direct bolt on.
Just check the basic things that you would check with any car. Is there oil in it and is it clean? Compression, tires, brakes, etc. I had one and a lot of the electronic stuff didnt work or only worked occasionaly. Windows, door locks, etc.
Check the steering rack for leaks. S12’s are notorious for that.
(And if you do get it I have a 85 turbo 200sx with a blown engine. Turbo is still good and the car has some nice goodies attached to it. If you’re interested in a parts car let me know.)
Double edit: And if you don’t buy it shoot me the info as I might be interested if you’re not.
Yeah as far as i saw there were no leaks in the engine bay around the steering i know my old 85 had a power steering leak and oil leak and shit but it had a few more kms then this one so. but alright so the sr turbo is a bolt on sweet cause this one comes with one.
