You mentioned fearing rain… What are you worried about? If you’re worried about hydrolocking your motor, don’t. Unless you’re going to at least partially submerge the filter that won’t happen. If you do partially submerge the filter, that sock won’t do you dick for good.
If you’re worried about getting moisture on your MAF, well, I doubt that that sock really works anyways. .005" filtration isn’t much, and they claim that they treat it with a hydrophobic something-or-other. Want to know what else is hydrophobic? The oil that you already treated the filter with. :tup:
