I’m looking for a place that can tell me what my car needs to pass without ripping my sticker off. I am not looking for someone to just throw a sticker on. Most of this is so I can budget accordingly.

Go do it yourself? Checking suspension bits for excessive play, brakes for having some pad material left and lights to be functioning is something pretty much anyone can do. Plus it keeps shops honest when they try and tell you your brakes are borderline and you quickly remind them exactly how much material was left and why that’s enough to pass the inspection.
Best to do it yourself. I got an inspection 2 years ago and changed my wipers before going in, they told me I needed wipers :bloated:
ubengineering on here may still be able to do an inspection for you and let you know what you need to get fixed.
If someone can, ill get you some lunch. I got a feeling its going to need a few suspension pieces, possibly tires(will most likely get anyways) and an o2 sensor but id appreciate a second opinion before I go in and have another $500+ inspection.
ill just check for you if you want to come to my work saturday, we can put in on the lift there
Sounds good, pm me an address and ill be by early in the day as I work 11-10 on saturdays.
A good tire test you can do at home, take a penny and put it in the tread top of lincoln head down. If the tread comes up past the top of his head your tires should pass
Yeah, the tires I want to replace, two have bad inner wear and don’t stickk as well as id like them too.
or you could just make sure no part of the tread is down to the wear bars, lol
