Turned out very nice

that must havee been expensive, what kinda system do u have planned?

 his 6x9 rock that shit yO mad leet…Naw its for keeping the road noise and heat out.

Lookin good mang, get her done and out cruzin!

ppl really care about road noise that much??

they do in a 1st gen cameero

hmph

wow…

that’s alot…of fatmat…

Road noise can suck.

How much was it?

yeah i’m curious too…

how much did it take to cover all that.
And does anyone think it’s worth it to cover the inside of the doors as well?

road noise def blows. i’ll be doin the same thing soon.

Details on price, where you bought it, etc. I’m planning on doing the same thing for my 69.

Road noise in a 1st gen Camaro is very high. The mat makes a world of difference.

  • Looks like you need a replacement dash pad also. $225 :frowning:

part of the reason i dont drive a hatch anymore.

I bought the stuff for both his and my car is was $100 for 100 sq ft then shipping was $30. It comes in 2 rolls, we used one full roll and a little of the second roll but had alot extra. Here is there website

Alot cheaper then DYNAMAT.

Dynamat is way expensive. I figured that there were other companies out there that made the same product.

What thickness did you get? 45mil. ?

btw, thanks for the info.

Noice, the shit looks good. Gotta do it to mine now.

yeah there was alot of other companies out there but i heard great things about fatmat. Yes the thickness is 45mil. When i do my car i think im going to put 2 layers up front to block the heat that comes off my tranny.

This chart dynamat has on there website gives you some info

http://www.dynamat.com/products_automotive_dynaliner.html

I’m trying to see how thick 45mil is in inches. I got 1.773 inches, which I really doubt the mat is that thick. How thick is it?

it is 45mil not millimeters

45 mil = 0.045 in

how much does that weigh?
