Question i forgot to ask the geico peeps.

I have allstate right now, my six month policy expires and renews the end of december.

Geico gave me a quote of nearly half what I pay now, I want geico asap.

Whats the deal here, can I start a geico policy for next month and cancel allstate, or am I in some kind of a contract with them until my six month policy expires?

Yeah you’ll get a refund but you have to make sure you ask them to fax your new contract to your old insurance agent, they don’t do it automatically.

i switched over today, policy goes effective on the 10th of sept.

I saved 543.20 a year by going to geico.
