intel machine wont recognize pci express x16 video card

what am i doing wrong? tried the card in the amd, works flawlessly.

acts like it isnt even installed in the intel. tried vga, dvi, hdmi. nothing.

Anyone?

Probably need a few more details here. What model board? What video card? Are you using the same power supply?

Does the board support PCI x16?
Latest BIOS installed?
Bad PCI slot? Does another card work on the intel board?

this is the motherboard

this is the video card.

i tried the card in my other machine and it worked fine. (other machine is an amd)

I was told intels are “bitchy” and i need to figure out how to disable to onboard video in the bios, i couldnt find an option for it.
I unfortunatly, dont have another card that isnt identical to try in the pc. (I bought 2 of the same cards, one for each pc)

i went and disabled the intel chipset, still wont load with the asus card plugged in.

if i put the asus card in and then hook up to onboard video, it also says no signal to monitor.

I tried hmdi, vga and div.
