Interesting Maddox article from 2 years ago...(2003)

the end of the argument is it don’t matter if jerry rice and joe montana in their prime come back for the steelers on monday night if our D can’t hold the colts under 24.

What the fuck does that have to do with my argument that Tommy Maddox sucks?

I do agree with you though; Cincinatti proved last weekend that you don’t want to go toe to toe with Indi in an offensive shootout.

the argument that tommy maddox sucks is opinion. it can never be won or lost. we can argue till we’re blue in the face and the only thing that matters is a superbowl ring at the end of the season.

Or maybe if you actually did your homework, you’d know that the Ravens are 11th in the NFL in passing defense. And only 14th in the NFL against the run.

The Steelers are 10th in league in rushing and 18th on passing. Which would you plan on doing?

The main point/argument was, the loss is not entirely on the shoulders of Tommy maddox. NOT… “does maddox suck?”.

That I will actually agree with you on. Indy scares the shit out of me, if we have Ben or not.

right but with Maddox at the trigger, there was even a lower percentage that they would throw and EVERYONE knew it. With Ben in there atleast they arn;t stacking the line as much.

As for the Bentis comment ealier, I think bentis is going to retire and I think he should. Valiant effort this year to give it one more go, but its time to hang it up.

shit I must have quoted you right as you edited it…

Oh well I thought the quote looked longer then I read…

Id probably agree with that. But, if our run was as good as everyone thought it was… it shouldnt have mattered that much. Remember when other teams would stack the line, and Duce or Bettis would STILL run them over?

Right I understand that, but like stated I think bentis is done and I think he knows it. He is just having a hard time letting go. Duce on the other hand I have no Idea what happend to him.

PS - Why did you edit my post :hs:

I just changed what you quoted me saying in my post… so it matched up with my edit in my previous post. did i change something important by accident?

dont mind me im just whorin through

suck fag cock in hell…

nope just saw the edit…

Maddox had no O-line on Sunday. Stan Savran went off about it Monday night. Facts are facts: Maddox is a mediocre quarterback… BUT if he had Tom Brady’s O-line, I’d imagine he’d be pretty good.

He could have the greatest offensive line in the world. How would that keep him from dropping balls? Or throwing lame ducks? Or passing to double covered receivers when others are wide open? Or not being able to get his team organized and burning time outs?

true

truer

the running backs blew the game

maddox handed them the ball and they did nothing
also
and recievers blew the game- 12 passes caught no tds

wtf ???

keep bringing up maddox dropping the ball agaisnt jax is as releavent as big ben THROWING A PICK FOR A TD IN THE AFC CHAMPIONSHIP!!! its over and doesn;t matter.

WHAT???/THAT REALLY HAPPENED???HE SUCKS!!!
BEN BLOWS AND FOLDS UNDER PRESSURE JUST LIKE KORDELL!!!

these guys are right its all the qbs fault.

here is my point exactly quoted on Fox sports…see chads post about what i said about maddox…this is my exact point.

And, though nobody in the locker room was saying it, to get the immobile Maddox out of there. Maddox was sacked six times and was nearly brought down three other times in a 16-13 overtime loss Sunday to Baltimore (3-7), a loss that cost the Steelers a chance to move into the division lead by themselves.

Because Maddox couldn’t dodge the Ravens’ pass rush long enough to consistently get the ball downfield, the Ravens loaded up the line of scrimmage with eight defenders and often dropped only three defensive backs into coverage.

ya the O-line wasnt good, but ^^^^. Tommy didnt single-handedly blow the game, but he didnt do anything but make it worse. thanks, bye.

15 wins and his first loss ever in the NFL

or maddox choking 2004 and again in 2005.

make relative comparisions.
