No thread about it? I’ve almost forgotten about it. Been planning on staining the deck all weekend. Never even thought to preregister. Oh well, I’ll do that afterwards. I’ve been itching to drive like an asshole for a couple of weeks, and I might be trading the Jetta for an SUV soon so I better eat cones while I can.
We’ll see how this wedding ring affects my driving.
I couldn’t get faster during the competitive runs, then when fun runs came, I beat my best time by like 1.5 secs. wtf. that would’ve been good enough for maybe first in novice??? but I trophied anyways

get out of Novice, you’ve been doing this longer than me!
Good day, minus the Zong’ing it into a curb :bloated:
actually had some competition in STU today (not that there isn’t normally good drivers, just there was a decent amount of people)
think I have a bad wheel bearing somehow, it was noisy on the way home. I am going to give it a day before checking it out, not sure if I just have some flat spots on my tires or not.

so tell us how you felt when you zonged it.
yea I really should get out of novice, after I get some suspension stuff installed
or you could be lucky and it may be a dust sheild rubbing

have had no time to look at it yet, just got back from dinner and what not… it sounds too deep to be that but i’ll see if I can find anything obviously bent/rubbing.
Long, to answer your question, dunno, I didn’t even feel as if I was going to hit the curb, the car just kept on going and going. When hitting it felt like nothing at all, almost like just hitting run-off at a track or something.
As for the first half of fun runs, um, spectators? That was R-E-D-I-C-K-U-L-O-U-S, totally should have said something over the loud speaker. If it wouldn’t have meant a statutory charge, someone should have offered $$$ to see if she really was a pro.
