internal wastegate talk

So i have my turbo / manifold / elbow off because the gasket blew and it looks like my manifold finally cracked… mind you this one was the rewelded up one that i bought off Dan from his external wastegate experiment years ago, it it was already fatigued. It did crack exactly where it was previously cut and welded and subsequently rewelded.

anyhow… about the internal gate.

the eye fitting that hooks onto the wastegate latch stripped off a while back because i only barely had it threaded on… i proceeded to thread it on further but now it overboosts a bit.

what i’d like to do it get a longer fitting so that i can thread it on further but keep it at the current setting… anyone know if i can get something like that or will i have to have this one modded a bit?

I saw that Vlad did this too, which is pretty massively cool… where can you get the threaded eye fitting?

I did a set up similar to that of the actuator in the bottom of the picture with my fathers alternator on his BBC.

Rona, iirc, is where I got the parts. One was reverse threaded rod too I believe. Worked very very well.

Dont see why it would not work amazingly!
