i hope its better than the initial releases
I have been using the second beta, other than it not allowing me to change my search engine i love it.
Yep, I had beta 2, which was a little buggy, then RC 1, which was much better. I’ll download this right now. I’ve been real impressed RC 1 so I should be happy with it.
EDIT: Wow, 23KB/sec. Either someone is downloading massive porn at work today, or lots of people are downloading from microsoft.
i got whatever was teh 1st one and its UBER buggy…ill have to get the final when i get home…i am trying to convince out IT guy we need to upgrade cause we are switching for internal email serve to external so we need IE open all teh time and tabs would be better
they are all buggy…
If they would let me run ie6 and ie7 i would download it.
We write one stylesheet for our sites that is 100% W3C compliant and it works on safari, FF, etc… but we still have to add two additional stylesheets, one for IE6 hacks, and one for IE7 hacks… maybe in IE8 they will actually start getting close.
there already is a couple major vunabilities found
they are going to push this out as an optional windowsupdate very soon.
The only thing I don’t like is how it sets “Enable programmatic clipboard access” to “Prompt” every time I’ve updated. It’s an annoying feature that I have to keep going in and setting to “Enable”.
oh microsoft…
die
yea firefox 2 is nice
:word:
just DL firefox 2…quick question…does the new firefox have the plug-in issuesthat the odl one did
TO bad you have to have a genuine verson of windows…
Firefox 2 Release Candidate 3 (RC 3) is a preview release of our next generation Firefox browser and is being made available for download to Web application developers, our testing community and users who want to get a sneak peek at the next version of Firefox. Please note that at this time, users should not expect all of their extensions, plugins and themes from previous versions of Firefox to work properly.
hit or miss. :gotme:
did they fix the memory leaks in FF?
ehh, when i installed, it automatically d/l’d new versions of extensions and themes
ide say its more hit than miss
good to know; i’ll probably wait for a full version just the same.
anyone enjoying ie 7 yet? i don’t want to be a guinea pig.
