I’m new here waves I put down an offer on a 240 about… 5 hours ago. Hoping to get a “you’ve got a deal” instead of a “go f**k urself” tommorow 
If the latter does arrive… I will increase my offer by 500 bucks, and if it comes again, well, I’ll give him my own
My car is still alive and kicking, so I’m in no real hurry to buy my 240, I just want a really really nice one, not willing to settle for decent, okay, etc…
It’s a black 93 hatch that I’m lookin at, 185K on the odo, and I offered 3K for it. He was originally asking for 5K but admitted it’s not worth that much. I’m hopin 3 does it It’s pretty stock, cept for rims and lowering. He said something about a custom exhaust, but it looks like a wider stock exhaust and it’s loud and sounds like crap, so it’ll be the first thing to go. He has a short ram on it, so I’ll prolly just build a heatshield around it, and run some ducting to feed cold air into there. He said something bout having headers, but they looked stock to me. Also said somethin bout having a chip, but I haven’t driven a 240 before that one, and it felt pretty “normal”. I didn’t try breaking the 180kph, so I’m not even sure what kinda chip it is.
Aaaaanyways… it looks nice, drives nice and seems like an all-round NON piece o crap, so I’d like to buy it if he agrees to my very reasonable price
For now, I drive a very ricey looking 87 celica. I don’t rice it out… it just happens to it b/c of friends and family… My folks bought me fast and furious seat covers, so I put them on cuz the stock seats were shitty. Also got me the matching floor mats. My friends got me a GT-R badge for my b-day cuz I like skylines and hate riced out cars, so I put that on and riced out my celica even more for spite to the world :lol: Then another friend got me a black light and I put that on the dash. So now my rice-o-meter is off the charts. But it’s a beater. So I don’t care

i don’t have much done to it yet, it was bone stock when i got it… so far i just bought rims off of a guy i know. as i get enough money for new stuff i’ll add to it i guess. i already said i was at driftnation’s driftkhana 3, so you can probably guess i’m into the whole drifting thing i also dont mind autocross, but i’m not a big fan of drag racing…

Hey guys. My names Ramesh. I’m 17 and live in Mississauga. I just bought a 1989 240sx coupe yeterday. It needs a bit of body work but mechanically the car seems good. One of the exhaust brackets is just rattling. I bought the coupe that was on sale on SON by cjfly. I have been looking through the posts on this board for a couple of years now but this is my first time posting. I’m probably gonna have a lot of questions since this is my first car and first time driving a manual car so please don’t get pissed off at my noobness. Anyways, I hope to stay on this board a long time.

hey, I’m Tim. I’m from Toronto. I Just turned 16 this October, I own a 1990 240sx. Pretty much all stock except stereo, rims, exhaust, and minor other things that i dont know about yet. I purchased the car about 2 months ago and its just going to be my work in progress.
So far i've been pulled over 3 times before i turned 16. Twice i've been pulled over in my moms van driving with out a lisence, etc. The third time i got pulled over in richmond hill in my 240sx with stolen plates, no insurance, no lisence, and possesion. All the charges got dropped except "driving a motor vehicle with unauthprized plates" and "Drive a motor vehicle with no lisence" and they wrote them off as traffic tickets. I have to go to court so best luck to me.
