Just bought a car we built on the show, an S13 with an SR20. Want to, within reason, set the car up well to be competitive for the 2007 drift season. Looking for info and thoughts on setup. You guys seem to have lots of info - have surfed through quite a bit but may ask some redundant questions without realizing it. Sorry in advance!

I’m KoukiS14’s little brother. I’m 18 years old, attending St. Clair college right now. I have a 98 suzuki GSXR600 and just bought a 1995 240SX a little while ago. Right now all stock. Plan to do some track days/autocross.

Mr.X, i was wondering how much you pay for insurance on the GSXR, i’m looking to get my bike liscence within the next year, but dont have much idea of insurance prices, i heard they were unreasonable for someone that age?
Unless you are with State Farm insurance and have at LEAST 5 years experience(car or motorcycle doesn’t matter), you may as well bend over. If you have your car/house with State Farm, for a 600cc, expect to pay about $100.00/month.
Now if you aren’t with State Farm, then don’t be suprised to be paying $2400+ a year. Facility insurance for me is $2300/year and you have to pay up front the full amount. As of November 1st, they are increasing their rates 17.3%. Thats quite an increase. :idhitit:
Just call a bunch of insurnace companies and get some quotes before you buy a bike.
Hello everyone, my name is Chris im a member from torontomaxima in the gta here and am looking to pick up a 240, most likely an s13 unless i find an s14 for a ridiculous price(high mileage motor good shape but its ok if the body is in need of repair)
my car has been a plague more or less in repairs and dings, and hits, and im frankly tired of it :?
can anyone give me some things to know about both gens? some precautions, pluses minuses?? id love to get some feedback from people who treasure these cars like i do to my maxima. cheers folks!

HI,
im sort of new here, been lurking for a while but its time i made my self know. I own a 90 240sx hatch, black, stock, and in somewhat rough shape. I have owned the car for about 4-5 years but only drove it for about 4 months total. The car has sat for a couple of year until know when i decided to make it a project. It needs some rust repair, brake rotors/pads, suspension is shot but as far as 240’s go its not that bad.
So from now on i will be around maybe asking some questions but mostly inquiring about parts for sale.
