Hey guys, thinking about buying a 240. if I do I will be looking for just the body, frame and basic components to be good. I’ll be swapping out the engine for likely a Sr20det or an RB20, and thats a big reason why I’m here. I want to research it a little bit and check out some cars for sale.

hey guys and girls… i have been on here for a few months now but have not introduced myself im from Aurora my name is scott im 18 i drive a red 1990 240sx. With a few mods including tein s tech springs, KYB gas struts, front and rear strut bars, buddy club rims,2.5 inche exghaust and high flow cat, and trying to add a momo wheel to it tonight waiting on a call…
P.S. i am interested in getting out to some tracks but was wondering if any of the track days set up by other son members had instructinal side to it like a ride along type deal to get a feel for the track and proper cornering?
Check out Dip’s track days. It’s in the club meets section. Theres going to be a full track day on Aug 6 (monday the holiday). 9 - 5pm or 8 - 5pm. Its $120 per person.
And if you haven’t been on the track, I’m pretty sure that quite a few people will be more than happy to take you for a few laps to show you the racing lines, etc.
Try and make it out. I’ll definitely be going.

I currently own a 92 Honda Accord but I have always wanted a rear wheel drive car and I have always loved the 240 thus here I am…I will hopefully have a 240 in the comming months as I am looking very hard to find one with a clean body.

check the car classified and kijiji for a 240sx
I would start looking a little harder. A bunch of people will be leaving in a month for school or not being able to store one of there cars. In the next few months you might be able to pick up a 240 for cheap as well since winter is not the season for sports cars. I picked mine up around 1-2 months from today, GL!
