on reddit there were a bunch of best buys where they didn’t even have a line…

I’m not an Apple guy, but I really can’t think of anything that would warrant me standing in line to get.
What about $1000? Because if you stood in line and got 2 that’s about what you could have made in profit selling them today.
I wouldn’t stand in line like that just to get a phone but 8 hours in line to make $1000 cash ain’t bad. 125/hr that you wouldn’t declare as income. 
Bring a tablet, a chair and a netflix account.
I’d consider it for next year (or whenever), but how many people are actually standing in line to upgrade their phone? 98%? To me that is insane.
Agreed. I’d much rather just order my phone online and wait for it to show up. Pretty pissed right now that my friend who got his pre-order in 20 minutes before me and also had his order status go to “preparing to ship” at the same time as me yesterday got a tracking number this morning while mine is still at “preparing to ship”. His left China early this morning and will be at his house Thursday.
EDIT: And yes, they’re direct shipping them via UPS to your house from China.
Mine arrived home, just as it stated it would today.
People are buying them. Ordering online is backed up 3-4 weeks right now esp as people are seeing them in the store. There is always rich kids that their single parents wants to make happy.
I don’t know of any Verizon stores that got the plus model

i guess i got lucky then, the verizon store here had both 6 and plus model. going from a 4 to 6plus is a huge upgrade and glad that i got the plus instead of 6
They have started some manufacturing in the US again. They have tons of retail stores and pay employees with minimal skills fairly well. The retail store thing is a HUGE deal considering they are a tech company. The traditional tech biz model is NO ROOTS and/or dense consolidation in a low overhead area. What’s not to like…but I guess I’m a “fanboy” for thinking this way. LOL
are these really that back ordered in Buffalo? my sister walked into a store last night after work and got one no issue.
They upped shipping and a lot of places are getting them pretty regularly now with shipments to get them. I still think its hit or miss if you find the plus but they do ramp up shipping every year to prevent the window of people selling them for profit as well. That is why I listed an sold mine in a day before the news spread.
Did you end up selling the 2nd one as well or decide to keep it?
I have my 6 plus that I bought. I sold the second one I bought for $1450. I picked up a second one from someone in the store who couldn’t front the $900 so had them buy it and paid them cash for it and that just sold for $1200 so I am out of iPhones except for my 6 plus i am using.
So… who is using the larger version… and how do you like it? I’ve got to get my hands on both soon and see…
So less profit on the 2nd one but still not bad.
and if you didn’t sell it you could always return for a refund, right?
