Just watched the forecast and Irene is going to be affecting the Northeast pretty badly. It is forecasted to track inland starting in NC, all the way to upstate NY, where everyone is expected to see sustained Cat-2 damage including 100MPH winds and torrential rains.
Pretty crazy. I don’t remember a hurricane affecting our area like this before.
Should be interesting to see how it pans out, if it shifts any further inland it will weaken and be nothing more than a windy rainy day however if it holds course or even pulls away from the coast before moving in we could see some really crazy weather. I kinda wanna go mountain biking in it because I’m a dumbass and wanna be able to say I biked in a hurricane.
