it is a saftey standards thing that was required when these cars were new (thats why it was added on udm vehicles)

now its not, so thats why you can import them and they are fine

thats what originally stoped me from buying a 180 for 3500 that had 60,000k 3 years ago.

I thought it was fuckked up cause the frame was missing,

Ya when I took my 180 home after I bought it I almost had a heart attack when I looked at it haha. Your good though, something to do with different regulations over there, as said above.
