yes. Its a fraternity thay you can be banned from. I think I would call it a club. Now for a faction with the club. I’ve been thinking about starting a club. I don’t have a name for it yet. The rules are simple. You must break 12.999 ET on dot tires, threw exhaust. Thats it. Maybe it could be called 1%. Then anyone whom gets into the 11.999 or lower can be a part of the filthy few :burnout:

how is it a club with 50% of the board doesn’t like 50%… it’s not like we all get along and hold hands in a circle in parking lots weekly… shit, i haven’t even seen WHITEY (our ‘leader’) in over a month… how is it a ‘car club’ when there is no ‘rules’ to join? IT"S A WEBSITE… that’s why yo’ure all on here… you didn’t get the secret password from someone at a drag strip and gained access… you can google it and join… period.
it’s a place of public discussion, more so a media outlet with a forum…
car clubs are for fags that like to pretend that we all get a long and that we are all happy… they defend eachother from ‘outsiders’… MEANWHILE WE FIGHT AMONGST OURSELVES.
i just dont see it as any sort of club… and anyone that’s been around for it’s creation knows the intentions were never for it being a club.

In all seriousness what is so stupid about a club? There are clubs for everything and GENERALLY its for people to have an identity when they participate in events and such.
I was part of a r/c Flyers club called Phenoix Flyers. A bunch of guys who got together on sundays and flew at boyce and helped each other out. Other flight clubs go to flying competitions and represent as a group.
Lions Club - Lions Clubs International is the world’s largest volunteer service organization, with clubs all over the globe. How often do you thing ALL OF THEIR MEMBERS get together at the same time and hang out in a parking lot since apprently thats all clubs do do some of you.
United States Pony Clubs - A national not-for-profit organization that provides a program for youth teaching riding, mounted sports, and the care of horse and ponies. (Looky here another club that helps people out and compete)
Chad, I’m sure when you played hockey in High school it was actually listed as a club like in mosts schools due to the costs and such accosiated with playing.

Here go read this. If you want to get technical, Pittspeed didn’t start with the intentions of a club, but it sure could be classified as one.
it was a club sport in highschool and college because of it not being big enough to the schools to care to call it a sport.
here’s a question for all of you? why the hell do you want it classified as a club?
