"Is there really mO.rE.?"

Question is, O.E.M. parts are generally regarded as better as aftermarket and are the standard to look up to.

But is that really the case? Do you really get what you pay for at a dealer?

More expensive does not always mean better.

Often parts go to retail stores from the same manufacturer as OEM.

I’ll investigate into exactly what goes into a dealer cost of a part, and why it’s marked up and how much it’s marked up.

Whether the same manufacturer sends parts to the dealer and retail under different brand names, even though it’s the same part.

If OE parts are really superior and even if so, how do they stack up against lifetime warranties.

Are there any 3rd party manufacturers that actually claim to beat OE specs and tolerances.

Talk about Filters as well. I know OE filters are generally inferior to quality aftermarket products. WIC, Pure One, ToughGuard.
