The first pic didn’t really bother me. I chuckled a little. It was cute. A bit irreverent to me, but cute. I can’t expect everyone to be respectful of something I choose to hold in reverence, so whatever.

What I guess worries me is all the anti-religion sentiments I see coming from so many intelligent young people who are ignorant to the difference between religion and church. It’s fine to disagree with church policies. There are some that I disagree with too. But come on. Don’t go denouncing all religious teachings because of church policies that you disagree with.

I just find it interesting that everyone talks about being respectful of other peoples beliefs/views and then go off on religion…It’s hypocritical, but whatever floats your boat I guess…

I’m not talking about rights…i’m talking about being respectful. Yeah, you have the right to say what you want and I have the right to believe what I want. I agree. You’re not an idiot because you think the way you do and i’m not an idiot for thinking the way I do. I may not think the same way as you, but I will respect you and I’m not going to make fun of you. There is a difference between having the right to do something and being respectful. just because you have the right to say something doesn’t necessarily make it the right thing to do.

I’m a christian and the three people I hang out most with are agnostic, athiest, and jewish. We get along just fine. If someone were to make fun of their views, I would back them as well.

How you act towards others beliefs is more important then what you believe in this case. I choose to be respectful. Eveyone else has their choice too.

I believe Jesus wanted a snickers while he was dangling from his cross. Thats what I believe in. I’m sorry if you are offended by it. I also truly believe that Jesus Banks at the Bank of America…i’ve seen his image at the ATM in the shape of spilled coffee.
