Important Details!!
- NO open toe sandals or slippers, wear sneakers!
- NO shorts, everyone must wear long pants for karting!
- NO credit cards / debit cards accepted, bring CASH.
- Cost is $85 per person. Exact change appreciated.
- Be ON TIME please. 8 AM Xgates lot (see below). Let’s get there before 11 AM to maximize track time for all.
- We will make ONE stop at McD’s or other fast food place to grab “brunch” close to the track before starting.
- If you need other food between brunch and 4 PM, please pack a snack as there is no other food at the track.
Attendees expect PM from me by Friday as reminders of this and with my contact info. Thanks all!

It’s the lot at the lower left corner of this photo. Same as used for the Karting event last year.
** I know that Wayne64SS is meeting the group out west off I-90. Other than this one exception, I’d like to ask that we don’t add any other meeting spots / times as it confuses everyone. Wayne I’ll contact you offline and we’ll set up a time and place to meet.

It’s that time of the year again for
WHEEL TO WHEEL BATTLE, Pt III!
For those of you who hit up CVMP with the fellow Shifters last summer and had a blast, this is Part III

New School vs. Old School, or basically
Guilderland aka G-G-G-G Unit vs. Everyone Else Who Thinks They Hot $hit
1. What’s Good Wit It
50 mph Karts
Real Outdoor Track
Full Rental Equipment
Track to Ourselves (no waiting for run groups!)
Lapping Session followed by Gridded Start and Final Race
Cheaper PER lap than any place within 500 miles, indoor or out. Nuff said!
2. Venue & Schedule
Cherry Valley Motorsports Park

4930 Route 20, Lafayette, NY 13084 (20 min. from Syracuse)
Schedule (Subject to slight change, but below is rough outline)
8 AM – Depart from Albany NY
11 AM – Practice Session (2x10 laps)
12 PM – Smack Talking, bring out the e-thug in you (in person tho)
1 PM – “Qualifying” Heats (2x10 laps)
2 PM – More Trash Talk
3 PM – Final 10 Lap Race with Gridded Start
4 PM – Cool off, heal battle scars, head back to 5-1-8
3. Format
(1) 2 x 10 lap practice sessions to get everyone familiar with course / etc.
(2) 2 x 10 lap “qualifying”
(3) 10 lap final race with gridded start depending on karter’s spot in previous 2 qualifying heats. Again, this can be in two different groups depending on turnout.
Winner gets trash talking rights on the forum for a year… With no NEG Rep! And gets the RESPECT yO! (yeah right).
Shifters, this is the golden opportunity to come out and run something (other than your mouth about _____ whp “next Spring”)
And if you are hot $hit behind the wheel- come get it!

4. Cost
Below pricing is FINAL!
IMPORTANT: Payments will be CASH basis only.
This is a small facility and debit / credit cards will not be accepted.
$100 per person IF we have 10 or less karters
$90 per person IF we have 11 to 15 karters
$85 per person IF we have 16 or more karters
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again:
Come out and experience racing for the price of a fake Mugen shift knob and pedal set. There is no better way!
NOTE: Due to limitations on number of karts, ability of owner to service everyone’s kart, participation will be CAPPED at 20 members.
