??? how do u figure? 1st gen was awesome. 2nd and 3rd gen were good for the time period (nothing was goin fast in late 70s-80s). LT1s were pretty fast (over 300hp, the 05 Mustang is only 300hp and its 10 years later) and LS1s were awesome.
that’s just it, 70’s and 80’s muscle ANYTHING was a turd, we’re not talking about “by comparison” we’re talking about fast from the factory

ok, well if everything was slow back then then how can u pin-point f-bodys??? if they had eclipses and talons back then they’d be even slower than the Fbodys were, so whats your point? the 1st gen were definatley fast, some of the 2nd gen also. the L98 3rd gen is decent and the turbo TA was fast. 4th gen LT1s r very respectable and all LS1s r fast. so i’d say thats pretty impressive.
even the 87-93 5slows were faster outta the box than dsms :eek:
