the more i think about it, the more i think putting the rising sun on the roof with smoke clear would look awesome. i say go for it.

It’d be subtle. Look like a black roof from oblique angles (sorry, Joe! ), then BAM there’s the rising sun hiding under that smoke clearcoat.
