JackdUp's 1992 Honda Civic CX

Thought you already had the 35R?

<<<<possible buyer :hsugh:

wow, us Honda guys are nuts. I have GT3582R for sale if I decide to go 4094 + full-race mani from Vince, wray first dibs apparently.

gotta love how the shit goes round lol

the more i think about it, the more i think putting the rising sun on the roof with smoke clear would look awesome. i say go for it.

saw it today looks great justin…jeff did a great job

Thanks!

It’d be subtle. Look like a black roof from oblique angles (sorry, Joe! ), then BAM there’s the rising sun hiding under that smoke clearcoat.

haha Its ok, lets see some good pics!

The cell phone pic Jeff sent me. I’ll have better pics later, when the light gets better.

lookin good Justin, I agree with Jeff about the rising sun idea, I would be sweet. Lean hard like pimp…:hahano:

I really want the roof painted that way, but I’m not sure the roof is straight enough…budgetary constraints on my bodywork budget prevented a better roof fix-up, but the rising sun may actually hide some of the wavyness or make it worse. Guess we’ll have to lay it down later and see?

And, here’s a slightly better pic I snapped off at lunch.

I’m just building anticipation for later!

woot 4x4!! When you throwing your slips on, slicked I assume?

Those are the Rotas’, with BFG Drag Radials (225/50/15) on front and Sumitomo knock-offs on back. It’s a world of difference, so much more stable than the 13" pie-cutters.

i’m sure they are! I squinted at the pic for a while and thought the tire looked too big for steelies, but wasn’t sure.

be careful with the bfg’s on the highway and sharp turns…they get a little scary.

Someone needs some suspension work. Looks good Justin.

nice! looks great!

I’m so happy to see this my conversion continues lol

I already told him, no luck. You know the air gets pretty thin up at those heights, don’t want him passing out on the strip. I did grab him a swaybar though…hear that Justin? Just a friendly little push…

Can’t get enough of that color. Good work on the car guys.

First things first…I need a rear GSR trailing arm/control arm/disc brake swap…and a front brake upgrade. It’s got a lot more rotating mass and the little brakes are not up to the task.
